Our real brides stories are so important to us - here is a look into our Icon bride Emily’s wedding day.

“She's beautiful and everything I didn't think I would pick in a dress. I didn't think I would like sparkles but there is not a single part of my dress that didn't have sparkles! I LOVED it! She was classy and sexy in all the right ways.”

We asked Emily the following questions to really get a feel for her day, and the process of choosing her dream dress:

Firstly, describe your day in one word:

AMAZING!

Tell us about dress shopping, who did you take with you and what was important to you in your dress search?

I took my mum, mother-in-law, maid of honour, niece and sister in law.

What was your favorite part of your day?

Walking down to our drinks reception as husband and wife listening to our saxophonist playing and seeing our family and friends having a good time.

Is there anything you would change about your day?

Cliche, but absolutely nothing.

3 Top tips for other brides:

If you're stressed, don't fight it. Just go with that feeling but don't let it consume you. People will tell you to enjoy the build up, but for me that didn't help because I believe that comes with hindsight. If anything, it made me think there was something wrong with me as I didn't love the build up.
Once the day starts you really won't give anything a second thought, you will not worry about all the things you thought you would. You'll be so happy to be finally getting married and with your nearest and dearest.
As much as it is you and your partner's day, make sure your guests have the best time because they're your favorite people and they are who make your day the best and give you memories to cherish on the first day of the rest of your lives.
